A Brief History

Electronic Signs Pty Ltd has 40 years of experience in general signage and 17 years of experience in electronic LED signage and technology. We continue to offer the latest technology for education, churches and clubs.

One of our missions is to continually assist schools in the Greater Sydney area with understanding their branding and boosting their street profile with the latest technology.

We are continually learning how best to support our schools, churches and clubs. We help public, catholic and independent schools navigate ongoing changes in sign technology, communications, software, school policies and procedures, departmental requirements and local council requirements.

We understand how schools can easily meet budget requirements with existing prototype signage, or may wish to be creative and work with us to design bespoke structures for a higher profile.

Our commitment to minimising overheads and instead focusing on quality product and service delivery, continues to pass on cost savings to our customers.

Our team has always been and remains the best in the business. Combining over 150 years experience in the sign and digital sign industry.

We now have over 450 organisations across NSW gaining the benefits of our electronic sign product.

We Have Come A Long Way

Our Start

Our business commenced as a family business called Signtype Pty Ltd in 1989. Supplying high quality signage to schools and other businesses across the Sydney basin.
The Early Days

Serving schools, businesses and clubs continued - such as being the primary sign supplier to Manly Warringah Leagues Club and H & R Block.
Working Flow

With advances in technology, we changed our business name to Electronic Signs and focused on the changeable sign market. Our first LED sign product was 18mm pitch - text message display and one colour only! This was back in 2008. Our focus on the schools and churches markets increased, so too relationships with key stakeholders. To ensure longevity of the business, we streamlined operations.
The Expansion

We became the market leader with schools with electronic LED signs and were the first company to install 5mm pitch (higher definiton) LED signs at a competitive price. Increasing our reputation, trust and longevity in the schools and digital products market. Achieved "Approved supplier of SCM0256 Construction < $ 1M in buy.nsw". Gained CM3 safety accreditation - the only electronic signs company to do so.
At Present

Rolling out out 4mm (3.99) pitch technology to the schools, churches and clubs market - still at competitive prices. Have over 400 school reference sites in the Sydney area alone. Expanding key stakeholder relationships such as Asset Management groups and local councils. We also now manage council applications on behalf of our clients saving our customers significant time and stress - with a 98% success rate with DA approvals. Continuing reputation with superior pre-sales and after-sales service. Ongoing Programmed Maintenance Plans with our existing customers to further extend longevity of their electronic signs. We are the top specialists in retrofitting and upgrading existing electronic signs with modern LED technology - whether your existing sign is on poles, monolith structures or a wall.
Future plans

To continue to seek out the latest technology in digital and LED products and proudly service all of our customer base. Continuing to support our electronic sign customers with our Electronic Signs AI Studio. To educate and produce for our customers incredible AI-generated images, videos and songs.
